Most of us are blessed with an amazing and most
caring human being in our lives. He is a person, who is irreplaceable and plays
the most important part in our life before even we come to this world. He is
addressed in several ways in different languages. But, it all mean the same and
carries the same love and respect. We see him as a role model who has seen the
life more closely for the years that’s more than our age. He has gone through
all the ups and downs and learnt from those experiences. He is a selfless guide
who show us the right path throughout our life, gives us the ability to choose what
is right and what is wrong in our life. He showers his learning of life on us from
his experience. Even if the entire world turns against you, he is the only one whom
you can count on, as he will always stand by us in all phases of life.
He will sacrifice his happiness just to see us
happy. He will sacrifice his needs just to fulfill our needs. His happiness
lies in seeing us happy and he is one person in our life who will go beyond his
limits to see a smile on our face. He
holds our hand and teaches us to walk. He is a perfect advisor whenever we need
one in life. He will never express his worries in life just so that we don’t get
worried, he will never express if he is hurt or sad
just so that we don’t feel hurt or saddened. He will slog throughout his life
just to fulfill all our demands. He cries for our pain but never shows his tears
as he fears that we would fall back in life. At least he will try to give us
the maximum of what he can. What is great about it is that he does it all
without expecting anything in return.
If we are successful, he is happier than us. Seeing
us lead a happy and prosperous life, he feels joyful and satisfied that his struggle
of life was fruitful and has paid off. Yet, he will not expect anything in
return. It is a sad truth that if he is lucky, he may get the gratitude, love
and respect in return. But there are many of them like him who only get
ignorance, hatred and disrespect. Irrespective of what he receives, he will
never stop doing good for us until his last breath and will always pray for the
betterment and happiness of our life.
Who is “He”? Who are we talking about? Are we talking about a good friend? Yes, we are talking about a good friend whom we call “FATHER”. A teacher from whom we learn the basics of life. An advisor who helps us tackle the situations of life. A mentor who teaches us to be strong and face the life the way it comes. More importantly, a humble, loving, caring and selfless human being who just finds his happiness in doing good for us. No matter how sophisticated we are, no matter how many crores we have in our account, no matter we have all the money in this world that can buy us anything we want, we shall never be able to repay a “Father”. Because, he did it all without any expectations.
If only few things that we can give him that would make
him feel happy is our love and respect. Mothers are always considered as the goddess.
We say that God could not be everywhere that is why he created Mothers. Mother’s
love is a completely different world. But, there is also “A Secret God” in everyone’s life who is not spoken about and yet
continues to do good. All that we can do to make that selfless soul happy is love
him like he loved us, care for him like he cared for us, stand by him like he
stood by us, make him smile like he made us smile. More importantly, be grateful
for the life that he gave us. Do not compare him as he is incomparable and irreplaceable :)
